Easy & Healthy Homemade Cherry Juice Recipe
I have no connection with ready-made fruit juices and acidic beverages, I prefer water to everything in summer heat. But home beverages have a special place. In the summer, especially lemonade is not missing from my closet.
When I saw the cherries in the market last week, I said I would buy cherry juice. I put 1 kilo in the basket. By the way, I do not know if there is any cherry selling place, but they were selling cherry kernel sorting tools on the counter I bought.
I came home and weed out the pits of cherries, threw half of them in the freezer, in winter I use them in cakes and cakes. I boiled the other half and made cherry juice.
Of course, I did not throw out the baked sour cherries left after the sour cherry juice.
There are those who make sour cherry juice in very different ways, I asked my grandmother because she constantly makes plum water, sour cherry juice, and we drink it by fainting. I did it the way he said, and I think it was delicious. I hope you like it too.
- 500 grams of sour cherry
- 2 lt of water
- 5 cups of granulated sugar (I used 200 ml cups)
- Half a lemon juice
- Put cherries, sugar and water in a pot
- Cook over medium heat until boiling
- After boiling, cut the bottom of the stove, add the lemon juice (the lemon makes the cherry give the water its color)
- Boil until the cherries soften and deform.
Cover the stove and fill it in the jug by strainer. After cooling, you can drink it with pleasure.
We do not throw the cherries left in the filter, of course, you can also make this wonderful cherry muffins with them.
NOTE: Since I don’t like too much sugar, the sugar came well, while you boil it, add it if you taste it less. You have missed the sugar you are looking at, you can drink it while watering it.
